“VERDE LAGUNA”: presentation of the book by Silvia Favaretto

On Saturday, April 11th, 2026, our gallery will once again be a cultural theater: after the wonderful presentation of “D’altro canto,” a collection of short stories by Lone Loëll, our series of book presentations continues. In this second meeting, we will discover “Verde Laguna,” published by Mazzanti Libri: Silvia Favaretto’s first novel. It tells a true story, that of the author’s grandmother, in 20th-century Venice, amid big political and social changes, from war to the economic boom. Ida’s story, which serves as a common thread between generations, is a tale of overcoming pain and loss, set against the backdrop of the historical and sociocultural events of a city, Venice, which, like its protagonist, resists adversity, transforms, adapts, and emerges, even when scarred, luminous, clear, and above all, loved.

The author will be introduced by Carla Bertolini, teacher and actress.
