Writer, photographer, director, composer
Scriptwriter of comics for 14 years, he began his career thanks to the writer and journalist Alberto Ongaro who, after training him as a screenwriter, introduced him to an important collaboration with the artist Attilio Micheluzzi. Later he joined Walt Disney Italia, collaborating with the magazine “Topolino”. He has published his writings with “Universo” and with “Rizzoli” publishers, collaborating with many artists, including Ivo Pavone.
He earned a professional level diploma with the Teatro La Fenice Foundation of Venice in digital editing and audiovisual documentation for theatres, collaborating later with La Fenice as video director of important opera performances (Lou Salomè, Le Nozze di Figaro and others) and symphonic plays (concerts of John Axelrod, Diego Matheuz and others).
Povoleri has composed the music for many documentaries by Massimo Mazzucco like: “The new American Century”, “True history of Marijuana”, “American Moon” and others. He also lectures on film techniques, screenplay and fiction at the Artistic high school of Venice and has held various film courses, some of which organized under the patronage of Venice Townhall. As a professional photographer he has received numerous international photo awards. As a writer he has published one novel, three essays and a photographic book.
