Lucia Sarto is a Friuli painter who lives and works in Lignano Sabbiadoro (UD).
Her art background comes from Venice and Turin, the city where she participated in her first important group exhibitions. She has over one hundred exhibitions in Italy and abroad. She show her paintings in numerous galleries around Europe, U.S.A and Japan. Her works are showed at San Giorgio Art Gallery in Portofino and here at Ghetto et Cetera Art Gallery.
Her most recent personal exhibitions: in Summer 2013 in the historic residence of the Banca Popolare in Cividale del Friuli; in April 2014 at Rettori Tribbio Art Gallery in Trieste. In 2015 she partakes in the the group exhibition “As Time goes By” organized by Donatella Chiara Bedello and curated by Dott.ssa Francesca Mezzatesta at Melori & Rosenberg art Gallery. In April 2018 a personal exhibition with her brothers, “Brothers in Arts” at Melori & Rosenberg in Venice. Since 2015 she has partaken in many events and exhibitions curated by Francesca Mezzatesta, art historian and critic. Among the most important: Galleria d’Arte Civica in Monreale, Museo Emilio Greco in Sabaudia, Palazzo Jung and Caccamo Castle in Palermo. In 2022 she partakes in the group exhibition “Water” and she exhibits in a big retrospective personal exhibition entitled “Di sguardi, di emozioni“. Since 2014 she also realizes small jewel-sculptures inspired by her paintings. Afterwards, her subjects – mostly flowers – are being reproduced on furniture, on pure silk scarves and on different, elegant bags.
