Because: “I was fascinated by Magdalena Targońska’s collages for her technical prowess in creating images by joining together small pieces of paper. Individually, they would be ordinary cutouts, but together they manage to give depth and movement to the image, thanks to the careful positioning of the individual fragments. What’s Beautiful is that “Pigna,” as the work is titled, immediately conveys the atmosphere of this Corsican city.”
