“LINEE D’OMBRA”: presentation of Andrea Bon’s book

On Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 4:30 pm, our gallery has turned into a cultural salon once more: after the touching presentation of “Verde Laguna,” Silvia Favaretto’s first novel published by Mazzanti Libri, it’s been time to discover Venetian Gothic in Andrea Bon‘s new collection for Editoriale Unicorn, “Linee D’Ombra.” Sixteen gothic and supernatural short stories set in Venice and the islands of its lagoon create an unusual and unsettling setting, quite far from the more familiar settings of European Gothic. Linked by a subtle narrative framework, the stories lead the reader through ruined palaces, deserted alleys, fog-shrouded sandbanks, and forgotten islands—places where the supernatural creeps in without ever revealing itself openly. The stories tread a fine line between the real and the invisible, exploring a horror of anticipation, suggestion, and silence.

The writer has been introduced by Giacomo Rigutto, president of the publishing house, and Franco Vianello, editorial director.
